MARVEL COMICS NEWS ROUNDUP

Marvel Comics has announced Deadpool Family, a one-shot scheduled for April.

The book will feature Deadpool, Lady Deadpool, Kidpool, Headpool and Dogpool in three stories.

Creators include James Asmus, Cullen Bunn and Mary HK Choi and artists Darnell Johnson, Dominike Stanton and Iren Strychalski.

"People really couldn't get enough of the Deadpools," said Marvel editor Sebastian Girner. "We wanted to continue delivering the action-packed hilarity and the great team dynamic we've created with this cast so we've lined up some really talented creative teams to tell the stories of this Deadpool Family."

The book will cost $3.99.



SMALLVILLE: "COLLATERAL"

The CW has released a description from "Collateral," the Friday, Jan. 28 episode of Smallville.

The episode features the return of Chloe Sullivan.

Here's how the netwrok descries the episode:

"Clark (Tom Welling), Oliver (Justin Hartley), Lois (Erica Durance) and Dinah (guest star Alaina Huffman) are released by the VRA after being captured at Hawkman's funeral but each of them have flashbacks of Chloe (Allison Mack) holding them against their will. When Chloe returns, Dinah warns the others that Chloe may now be a traitor. Oliver dismisses her concerns but Clark is unsure if he can trust Chloe after she disappeared without an explanation."

The episode was written by Jordan Hawley and directed by Morgan Beggs.
