BLUEWATER PRODUCTIONS FOR APRIL

THE GREEN HORNET NO. 1 AT BOX OFFICE

The Green Hornet opened at No. 1 at the box office on Friday.

The 3D film from Sony Pictures, starring Seth Rogen as the super-hero, pulled in an estimated $11.1 million.

The movie opened in theaters 3,584 theaters.

The Green Hornet nearly doubled the next nearest movie, The Dilemma, which opened with an estimated $6.1 million.

SMALLVILLE'S ERICA DURANCE AT THE TCA

Erica Durance, who plays Lois Lane on The CW's Smallville, represented the show at the network's presentation at the Winter Television Critics Association (TCA) gathering on Friday in Pasadena, Calif.

Durance was part of The Kick-Ass Women of The CW panel, joining Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola of The Vampire Diaries, Maggie Q and Lyndsy Fonseca of Nikita and Aly Michalka of Hellcats.

Durance was guarded about details as the 10th and final season of Smallville heads into its home stretch.

"My character is very instrumental in propelling the mythology and bringing about, hopefully, seeing Superman do what everybody wants him to do," Durance said. "That's pretty much all I can say about it."

THE CAPE: "DICE"

NBC has released a description of "Dice," the Monday, Jan. 31 episode of The Cape.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Peter Fleming -- aka Chess (James Frain) -- and the ARK Corporation prepare to unveil a special device that may alter the fate of Palm City. Tracey Jerrod -- aka Dice (guest star Mena Suvari), -- a young savant and inspiration for the device, emerges and targets Chess to avenge her father's death.

"Realizing he must keep his enemy alive in order to fully destroy him, Vince -- aka The Cape (David Lyons) -- suddenly finds himself defending his archnemesis. With the help of Rollo (Martin Klebba), Ruvi (Anil Kumar), Raia (Izabella Mike) and Max (Keith David), Vince attempts to master new skills and also tries to accept how his choices will affect his wife, Dana (Jennifer Ferrin) and son, Trip (Ryan Wynott)."

* Top Cow Productions has announced that Jeremy Haun has signed an exclusive contract with the publisher.

Haun will team up with writer Phil Hester as the series artist for The Darkness, beginning with #96. Haun will also bring new original properties to Top Cow as a writer and artist.

"I couldn't be more excited about exclusively joining Top Cow," Haun said. "They've been wonderful to me. After Alibi and Berserker for them, I'd been hoping for the chance to work with Filip Sablik and Top Cow again."
