SAMUEL L. JACKSON TALKS NICK FURY -- UPDATED!

Samuel L. Jackson appeared on NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night and revealed interesting tidbits on his Nick Fury character in upcoming Marvel movies.

Jackson said he still has to film his parts for both Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. "I have to one day on Thor and another day on Captain America," he said. "Then in April we start the Avengers, the big deal with everybody ."

Jackson described Fury's role in the Thor and Captain America movies. "I'm just connective tissue for them to join the Avengers," he said.

Jackson also said he will be screen-testing with five actresses for "a new character who's my sidekick" in The Avengers.

In related news, Paramount Pictures has released the following official description for the Captain America movie:

"Captain America: The First Avenger will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving)."



YOUNG JUSTICE: "SCHOOLED"

Warner Bros. Animation has released two clips and eight images from "Schooled," Friday's new episode of Young Justice on Cartoon Network.

For the second clip, featuring Black Canary training the Young Justice members, CLICK HERE.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Superboy's anger over his non-relationship with Superman is getting out of control. He refuses to train with Black Canary, and when the team faces an opponent that even the Justice League had trouble defeating, the Boy of Steel goes rogue."
