ARCHIE COMICS FIRST LOOKS

FIRST LOOK: ARCHIE DOUBLE DIGEST #216

Archie Double Digest #216 will arrive in stores on Feb. 16 from Archie Comics. The issue is written by Bill Golliher, John Rose and Craig Boldman, with art by Pat Kennedy, Stan Goldberg, John Rose, Al Milgrom, Bob Smith, John Workman, Phil Felix, Jack Morelli and Barry Grossman and a cover by Pat Kennedy, Jon D'Agostino and Tito Pena.

Here's how Archie describes the issue:

"In 'Time for Trouble,' Archie and Jughead hold an ultimate wrestling match in Veronica's house. But the loser of the match is Mr. Lodge's priceless antique clock! Next, in 'Not Board at All,' ever-klutzy Archie turns a slip while waiting tables into an award-winning snowboard performance without a snowboard! Finally, how could a 'Drip Drip Drip' sound drive Mr. Andrews to destroy his house? Wait until you see what is causing the drip!"

Archie Double Digest #216 will be 160 pages and will cost $3.99.





FIRST LOOK: BETTY & VERONICA #252

Betty & Veronica #252 will arrive in stores on Jan. 26 from Archie Comics. The issue is written by Angelo DeCesare and George Gladir, with art by Jeff Shultz, Rich Koslowski, Jack Morelli and Digikore and a cover by Dan Parent.

Here's how Archie describes the issue:

"Who's more popular, Betty or Veronica? In 'Face Off,' Veronica turns In-Your-Face-Book into a popularity contest that could cost more than just friendship. Next, in 'How to Be a Best Friend,' Betty and Veronica explain just what makes their friendship tick. Finally, in 'The Play is the Thing,' Betty steps up as a lead actress.
