JEREMY HAUN ON ARTIFACTS

Top Cow Productions has announced that recently named exclusive artist Jeremy Haun will be drawing Artifacts #9-12.

Haun will be joining Ron Marz for the final act of the series before his scheduled ongoing run on The Darkness. Artifacts #13 will be drawn by a yet-unannounced artist.

"I've been looking for a project for quite a while where I can really grow as an artist and produce something truly epic that I can be proud of," Haun said. "Artifacts is just that project. I can't wait for people to see what Ron and I are doing on the book. It's going to be... big."

"All writers have lists of artists they want to work with," Marz said. "Jeremy has been on my list for a while, so I'm really pleased Artifacts is going to be our chance to collaborate.

"Of course, with the epic scale of the storyline, and literally dozens of characters taking part, I intend to leave Jeremy a broken man ... er, artist ... by the time we hit the last page of issue #12."

Artifacts #9 will have covers by Eric Canete, Dale Keown and John Tyler Christopher and will be in stores on May 25.

THE SIMPSONS: RUSSELL BRAND

Russell Brand is guest-starring as himself in "Angry Dad: The Movie," Sunday's new episode of The Simpsons on the Fox.

In a video interview, Brand talks about his role in the episode, his affinity for The Simpsons and more.

To view the interview, CLICK HERE.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"Bart's cartoon about an angry dad is turned into Angry Dad: The Movie and quickly becomes a critics' favorite. When Russell Brand (guest-voicing as himself) presents the Golden Globe to Bart's film, Homer usurps the podium and gives his own acceptance speech. The film's winning streak continues with Homer taking credit at each ceremony, so when Angry Dad receives an Oscar nomination, Bart keeps it a secret. With the help of DJ Kwanzaa (guest voice Smoove), Homer and Marge arrive at the ceremony just as Halle Berry (guest-voicing as herself) presents the award. Bart's fellow nominee, Nick Park (guest-voicing as himself), helps him realize that creating a film is a team effort, and Bart gives credit where credit is due."
