STEVE NILES' REMAINS AT CHILLER

Chiller has announced an original movie, Steve Niles' Remains, as part of its 2011 programming slate.

Here's how the network describes the movie:

"Based on the graphic novel by Steve Niles, and set in a chilling post-apocalyptic Reno, Nevada, Remains follows the two lone survivors of a bizarre accident that reduced most of the world's population to zombies. The pair take refuge in a vacant casino and fight a losing battle against the undead, who grow steadily stronger, smarter and more aggressive by the minute."

Remains is written by John Doolan and directed by Colin Theys. Andrew Gernhard and Zach O'Brien will serve as producers for Synthetic Cinema International.

MARVEL COMICS' PLANET RED HULK

Marvel Comics is double-shipping Hulk in June with #34 and #35 for the "Planet Red Hulk" story by Jeff Parker and "Planet Hulk" artist Carlo Pagulayan.

Here's how Marvel describes the story:

"His country called and Red Hulk answered -- until his top secret mission blew up in orbit and his face! Now, Big Red is stranded on an unknown world where only the strong survive...but he's more than willing to fight his way to the top of the food chain!

"Is it cosmic irony that two gamma-irradiated goliaths have now found themselves stranded on alien worlds? Or has a secret force been controlling their paths through the space ways all along? Whatever the answer, it's a given that Red Hulk isn't your average castaway.

"Planet Red Hulk takes our hero further along his voyage of understanding that he is his own greatest enemy when Red is sent into a distant alien culture at war," Parker said. "It seems to have inspired original Planet Hulk artist Carlo Pagulayan to make the most jaw-dropping art I've ever seen him do- and he was already incredible!"

"Carlo put an undeniably unique and imaginative stamp on green Hulk and now he's bringing that magic to this arc of red Hulk," said Marvel Senior Editor, Mark Paniccia. "He's one of the best world-builders in the industry."
