GREEN LANTERN: RYAN REYNOLDS

THE AVENGERS: EARTH'S MIGHTEST HEROES: "THE HOSTAGE EARTH"
Disney XD has released a video preview of "The Hostage Earth," the episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes that premiers on the network on Sunday at 10 a.m. (ET/PT).

Here's how the network describes the episode:
"The Avengers try to stop the armies of Asgard from attempting a worldwide invasion."
The episode was writte by Michael Ryan from a story by Christopher Yost and Joshua Fine and was directed by Sebastian Montes.
THE WALKING DEAD: SEASON 2

AMC has released the first photos from Season 2 of The Walking Dead, currently in production in the greater Atlanta area.
The series' second season includes 13 episodes and premieres this fall.
Executive producer/writer/director Frank Darabont said, "At this moment, I'm standing on a stretch of post-apocalypse interstate in Georgia, littered with abandoned cars and blessing my good luck to be reunited with our amazing cast, and our fantastic directors and crew. Across the board, there are none better. It's great to be shooting again. I think we've embarked on a great season."

MARVEL COMICS ROUNDUP
Marvel Comics has announced Spider-Island: Avengers #1 for a September release.
Here's how Marvel describes the story, written by Christopher Yost, with art by Mike McKone and a cover by Leinil Francis Yu:
"Manhattan is over-run with wall-crawling New Yorkers and the Avengers must halt the mayhem! But as Earth's Mightiest struggle against a spider-powered ultimatum on the United Nations, theyÕll discover that with great power comes even greater adversity! Who can save the Avengers from an eight-legged Armageddon? Does all hope lie within Frog Man?"

* According to the Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox has hired Brad Caleb Kane, a writer-producer on the TV show Fringe, to write the new Daredevil movie. David Slade will directed the movie, reportedly to be based on the "Born Again" comics story.
