In what might be the seminal moment of Comic-Con International in 2011, The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield made a unique and poignant first appearance in Hall H during Sony Pictures' presentation on Friday.

BRIEFLY* Warner Home Video has announced its slate of DC Universe animated movies for 2012. They include Justice League: Doom, inspired by the Tower of Babel story and written by Dwayne McDuffie; Superman vs. the Elite, based on the comics story; and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, which will be a two-part film and is based on Frank Miller's classic series.
