THUNDERCATS ROUNDUPCartoon Network has released two clips from the one-hour series premiere of ThunderCats scheduled for Friday at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

The first episode, "The Sword of Omens," introduces Lion-O, the young prince and future Lord of the Thundercats. In the second episode, "Ancient Spirits of Evil," a devastating betrayal makes the Cat Kingdom vulnerable to Mumm-Ra's attack.
Cartoon Network has also released title and descriptions from August's episode of ThunderCats.

MARVEL COMICS ROUNDUPMarvel Comics has released the first in a series of teaser images for Ultimate Fallout #4 and the debut of the new Ultimate Spider-Man.
The issue will be in stores on August 3.
* Shout! Factory has announced a Sept. 13 release on DVD for Thor & Loki: Blood Brothers from Marvel Knights Animation.
The DVD, dervied from the graphic novel by Robert Lodi and Esad Ribic, will include bonus content and a comic book-style plastic sleeve that bridges the comic book to DVD concept.

BRIEFLY* According to Deadline, Frank Darabont has stepped down as showrunner of AMC's The Walking Dead. It is unclear if Darabont -- who appeared at Comic-Con International last weekend -- is remaining with the show.
The network has yet to confirm this report.
