NYCC: MARVEL'S CUP O' JOE PANEL
At its Cup O' Joe panel on Saturday at New York Comic Con, Marvel Comics announced Avengers Assemble, by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley.
The book launches in March.
Marvel editor Tom Brevoort said the book will rely on characters from The Avengers movie.
The first five-issue arc will feature a new Zodiac.
Other news from the panel included a Wolverine/Sabretooth project from Jeph Loeb and Simone Bianchi; both the FF and Fantastic Four continuing; and Dexter creator Jeff Lindsay writing a Dexter series for 2012.
GREEN LANTERN: THE ANIMATED SERIES
Warner Bros. Animation has announced that Green Lantern: The Animated Series will have a one-hour premiere on Cartoon Network on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. (ET/PT)/6 p.m. (CT).
A world premiere screening of the episode was staged at New York Comic Con on Saturday.

Marvel has released a trailer for the second season of Disney XD's The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

DC Comics has announced that Shazam will be introduced to the New 52 universe.
The Curse of Shazam will be a back-up feature in Justice League. It will be written by Geoff Johns, with art by Gary Frank.

* The publisher has unveiled covers to Superman: Earth One: Vol. 2, Aquaman #5, Green Lantern #5, Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E. #5 and O.M.A.C. #5.

* Dark Horse Comics has announced Conan the Barbarian, a new series by writer Brian Wood and artist Becky Cloonan that will begin on Feb. 8.
The will adapt Robert E. Howard's "Queen of the Black Coast," in which Conan turns his back on the civilized world and takes to the high seas alongside the pirate queen Belit.
* Daredevil and Luke Cage will be guest-starring in Marvel Comics' Black Panther: The Most Dangerous Man Alive in an arc featuring Kingpin.
* Stuart Immonen will draw the final issue of Warren Ellis' run on Secret Avengers.
