MARVEL COMICS ROUNDUP

Marvel Comics on Wednesday announced a six-part event crossover event in February featuring Venom, Ghost Rider, Hulk and X-23.

The story will run entirely in the Venom title, in February's #13, 13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 13.4 and March's #14.

The story is different take on Marvel's "New Fantastic Four" from Walt Simonson and Art Adams.

Rick Remender, Jeff Parker and Rob Williams will write, Tony Moore will draw the bookends and Stefano Caselli will provide covers. Other artists were not revealed.

"They're all sort of second generation characters looking to find themselves," Williams said. "They'll all go into this as one version and come out changed. I think people will be thrilled to see where this ends up. There will be potential for future storylines and big stuff."

The story takes place in Las Vegas, where Venom has ended up and Steve Rogers has sent Red Hulk to investigate a situation. The villain was not revealed.
