THUNDERCATS: "BERBILS"

Warner Bros. Animation has released a preview clip and gallery from "Berbils," the episode of ThunderCats that premieres on Cartoon Network on Friday.

Here's how the episode is described:

"Tiny robot bears solicit the help of the ThunderCats to save them from a slave trader who values their technical and construction skills. The Cats help to rescue enslaved Berbils and defend their village. Panthro learns that's he's not the only 'wrench monkey' and bonds with Robear Bill."

AMC RENEWS THE WALKING DEAD FOR SEASON 3

AMC ha announced the renewal of The Walking Dead television series for a third season. The network did not list a number of episodes for the next season, which will follow 13 episodes in the current season.

According to AMC, The Walking Dead is delivering "the strongest telecasts for any drama in basic cable history." The Season 2 premiere delivered 4.8 million Adults 18-49.

The series is based on the Image Comics series written by Robert Kirkman, an executive producer on the show. Glen Mazzara is serves as series showrunner, with Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert and Frank Darabont also executive producers and Greg Nicotero a co-executive producer.

"Today we are pleased to announce that the 'dead' shall live as we proudly renew The Walking Dead for a third season on AMC and, globally, with our terrific partners at Fox International Channels," said Charlie Collier, AMC;s President. "We are thankful for everyone's contribution in front of and behind the camera as we continue to make The Walking Dead a unique television experience. And, we are so proud as it continues to set viewership records around the world."

FOX International Channels rolled-out its global launch for The Walking Dead this weekend, with premieres on FIC's cable networks in Europe, Asia, Latin American, Africa and the Middle East. The series' international premieres pulled in more than 10 million viewers in 122 countries.

* Marvel Comics has unveiled Ed McGuinness' cover to Avengers: X-Sanction #1, in stores on Dec. 14.

* According to Variety, Ed Brubaker is adapting the "Coward" story from the first arc of his Criminal series for a movie. Jamie Patricof's Hunting Lane Films has acquired the rights to the movie, and David Slade -- whose credits include 30 Days of Night and Twilight: Eclipse" -- is attached to direct. Slade is also attached to direct 20th Century Fox's next Daredevil movie.

* Summit Entertainment has set a release date for August 13, 2013 for a Red sequel.

* Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced that the Batman: Arkham City video game has shipped more than 4.6 million units worldwide since its Oct. 18 North American launch.

The week one sales figure for Batman: Arkham City is more than double the number of units sold of Batman: Arkham Asylum in the same time period and solidifies the gameÕs place as a contender for one of the top-selling titles of 2011.
