ASPEN COMICS FINALIZES IDOLIZED

After five weeks of fan voting, Aspen Comics has revealed the final designs for Idolized.

Idolized is Aspen's first super-hero series, due in mid-2012. It tells the story of girl with super-powers and a dark past, who seeks revenge, and ultimately finds redemption, over the course of competing in a televised super-hero competition show.

The series is written by David B. Schwartz, with art by Micah Gunnell and colors by David Curiel.

For each character, Gunnell gave Aspen three different looks to choose from, and Aspen allowed readers to vote for the final designs, culminating with Trooper.

"We're truly thrilled with the incredible amount of attention that this brought to Idolized," said Aspen president Frank Mastromauro. "It's a series that I believe without a doubt readers are absolutely going to love, and I'm so happy that we were able to give our fans a chance to really interact with the series and help have a hand in shaping it."
