STEVE NILES' TALKS REMAINS

Steve Niles' Remains -- based on the IDW Publishing graphic novel -- will become the Chiller Network's first original movie when it premieres on Friday, Dec. 16.

Chiller staged a telephone press conference with Niles, where he discussed the movie and some of his other projects.

MARVEL COMICS FIRST LOOKS

DC COMICS NEWS ROUNDUP

DC Comics has announced that Gene Ha will be drawing Justice League #7, out in March.

Justice League #7 will be the first issue following the origin story, with the fully formed team in present day.

The issue will also feature the first appearance in Shazam in the New 52. The Curse of Shazam will be a back-up feature by Justice League writer Geoff Johns and artist Gary Frank, revealing a new origin for the character.

In other DC news:

* Cliff Chiang's cover to Wonder Woman #7 was unveiled.

Here's how DC describes the issue:

"Remember the myth of Orpheus? Wonder Woman does. And we hope she's learned its lessons well as someone she loves is in Hell's clutches and she's about to head out on a rescue mission. But Hades has no mercy -- even for family members -- and doesn't intend to let her out of his domain without paying a price."

* Rags Morales' cover to Action Comics #7 was revealed.

MARVEL COMICS NEWS ROUNDUP

Marvel Comics has unveiled variant covers for the Avengers: X-Sanction mini-series that launches next week.

Leinil Francis Yu provides four-connecting covers, and other variants include #1 by Joe Quesada and Ed McGuinness, #2 by Stephen Platt, #3 by Ian Churchill and #4 by Steve Skroce.

"When Cable came back we knew it had to be big, but I had no idea that we could get superstars Steve Skroce and Ian Churchill -- who I had a blast working on the monthly Cable comic back in the day - and, making his return to Marvel, Stephen Platt to all do variant covers for Avengers: X-Sanction," said writer Jeph Loeb. " This series is a celebration of everything we love about Nathan Summers and it wouldn't have felt complete without all these guys onboard."
