MEN IN BLACK 3 TRAILER

Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Men in Black 3.

JOE BENITEZ TALKS LADY MECHANIKA

Aspen Comics announced last week that Lady Mechanika #3 will be in stores on Dec. 21. At Comic-Con International earlier this year, The Continuum talked to creator Joe Benitez about the issue.

JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM ON FEB. 28

Warner Home Video has announced a Feb. 28 release for Justice League: Doom, the next entry in the series of DC Universe Animated Original Movies.

The film will be available in a Blu-Ray Combo Packand DVD, On Demand and for Download. Both the Blu-Ray Combo Pack and DVD will include an UltraViiolet Digital Copy,

In Justice League: Doom, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Cyborg and Batman are on their heels when a team of super villains discover and implement the Dark Knight's "contingency plans" for stopping any rogue Justice League member. The story is inspired by Mark Waid's JLA: Tower of Babel.

The cast of heroes includes Tim Daly as Superman, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Kevin Conroy as Batman, Michael Rosenbaum as Flash, Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman, Carl Lumbly as Martian Manhunter and Bumper Robinson as Cyborg.

The Justice League faces two sets of villainous teams in the film The Royal Flush Gang and another sextet. Villain voices include Phil Morris as Vandal Savage, Olivia d'Abo as Star Sapphire, Alexis Denisof as Mirror Master, Carlos Alazraqui as Bane, Paul Blackthorne as Metallo and Claudia Black as Cheetah.

David Kaufman reprises his Justice League role of Jimmy Olsen.

The film was written by Dwayne McDuffie, who died in February.



BRIEFLY

* Marvel Comics has announced Marjorie Liu and Mike Perkins as the new creative team on Astonishing X-Men beginning with #48 in March.

The team will featured Wolverine's X-Men in Regenesis, also including Northstar, Gambit, Iceman, Cecelia Reyes and Karma.

The series' primary antagonists will be the Marauders, including the Vanisher and Chimera.

* DC Comics has announced a May launch for Superman Family Adventures, a new kids title by Art Baltazar and Franco.

The book will feature Superman, Supergirl, Superboy, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Lex Luthor, Bizarro, General Zod and Fuzzy the Krypto Mouse.

Superman Family Adventures will be introduced in the DC Nation 2012 Free Comic Book Day Super Sampler.

* Warner Home Video has released the box art for Young Justice: Season One, Volume Three, in stores on Feb. 21.

Episodes in the collection include "Bereft," "Targets," "Terrors" and "Home Front."

* Activision has released the trailer for the Transfomers: Fall of Cybertron video game that premiered over the weekend at Spike TV's Video Game Awards.
