DARK HORSE COMICS FOR APRIL

Dark Horse Comics has released its solicitations for April.

For a rundown, with images, CLICK HERE.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES ROUNDUP

Entertainment Weekly is featuring The Dark Knight Rises on the cover of its annual Forecast issue, which arrives on Friday.

The magazine visited the set of the movie, arriving on July 20.

"I can tell you the truth because I'm done with it: I felt immense pressure," star Christian Bale told EW. "And I think it's a good pressure, because you owe it to the films -- and the people's expectations -- to make great work."

In other The Dark Knight Rises news:

* According to SodalHead.com, the movie is the most-anticipated sequel of 2012. It drew 26 percent of the votes of a consumer poll, topping 21 percent for The Hobbit.

* According to Deadline, midnight IMAX premieres of The Dark Knight Rises have already sold out in New York and Los Angeles.

MARVEL COMICS ROUNDUP

Marvel Comics announced that it is changing its Captain America and Bucky title to Captain America and Hawkeye beginning with #629 in April.

The title will remain for four issues, as the book becomes a rotating Captain America team-up book.

Cullen Bunn was announced as writer, with Alessandro Vitti as artist.

"I'm a huge Captain America fan," Bunn said. "As a much younger writer, Hawkeye was one of the characters I loved the most. So I jumped all over this.

"I've always connected with Hawkeye. He's got that Robin Hood thing going on. For some reason archer characters are always interesting. He's a rogue, he's got a big personality, he's a smart ass -- all those things help him along. He's a 'regular guy' but he's also the greatest archer in the world. In the face of overwhelming odds, he never backs down, and I think people can relate to that. He's as close to an everyman as you can get in a world where people can knock down buildings with a punch."

The story will involve Cap and Hawkeye fighting dinosaurs.

Iron Man and Black Widow will also be featured in the book.
