DC COMICS NEWS ROUNDUPDC Comics has announced guest artists for upcoming issues of its Batman titles -- Trevor McCarthy on Batwoman and Ed Benes on Detective Comics.
McCarthy will join writer J.H. Williams III and W. Haden Blackman on Batwoman #9-11. Williams will return as artist with Batwoman #12.
Following the "Night of the Owls" crossover event in May, Benes will join Detective Comics for #10-12. Tony S. Daniel continues as writer and will return as artist with #13.
"We're excited to be getting such great talent to step in on these books," said Bob Harras, DC Entertainment's Editor-in-Chief. "The work on both titles thus far has been exemplary. Tony Daniel has been going non-stop since the launch of DC Comics - The New 52, and Amy Reeder's contribution to Batwoman has been a beautiful transition from J.H.'s first story arc. Both Trevor and Ed are going to have to bring their A-game to maintain those standards."
