Warner Bros. Animation has released a clip, a gallery of images and a description from "Auld Aquaintances," the episode of Young Justice premiering on Cartoon Network on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. (ET/PT).

Marvel has released a preview clip from "Welcome to the Kree Empire," the episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes premiering Sunday on Disney XD.

* According to Variety, Guy Pearce is in final talks to play geneticist Aldrich Killian in Iron Man 3. Killian co-created the Extremis technology in the comic-book story by Warren Ellis.

* According to Deadline, Brad Peyton, who directed Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, has been set by Warner Bros to rewrite and direct a live-action Lobo movie based on the DC Comics character. Joel Silver and Akiva Goldsman are producing.
