SUPERMAN VS. THE ELITE -- FIRST CLIP

Warner Home Video has released the first clip and four images from Superman vs. The Elite, the next DC Universe animated movie, arriving on June 12.

Here's how the movie is described:
"Superman's effectiveness as a super hero comes into question when a new group of super powerful crusaders,
known as 'The Elite,' appear on the scene. As super heroes, the Elite
know no bounds, and are more than willing to kill, even on a massive
scale, to stop villainy -- putting them on a collision course with the
ever-ethical, yet preferably non-lethal Man of Steel."
The film is written by Joe Kelly and is based on his Action Comics #775 story. It is directed by Michael Chang.
The cast include George Newbern as Superman, Robin Atkin Downes as Manchester Black, Pauley Perrette as Lois Lan and David Kaufman as Jimmy Olsen.

Warner Bros. Animation has released two clips, a gallery of images and a description from "Birth of the Blade," the episode of ThunderCats premiering on Cartoon Network on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. (ET/PT).

Here's how the episode is described:
"As Lion-O and Pumyra try to evade Mumm-Ra and his forces in the mines of Mount Plundarr in an effort to keep the Sword of Plundarr out his hands, we flash back in time and discover its origin ... and its relationship with the Sword of Omens."

* Marvel has announced it is teaming with Ubisoft to develop a Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth video game. The game -- inspired by Secret Invasion story -- will be released this fall for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft with Kinect for Xbox 360 and Nintendo's Wii U system.
* Activision has released a game-play trailer of the upcoming Transformers Prime video game, based on the animated series.
