As part of an interview last weekend at the Motor City Comic Con for the Comics Continuum television series, Reed Gunther creators Shane Houghton and Chris Houghton provided an update on the delayed 10th issue of their Image Comics series.

Look for the Motor City Comic Con special episode of the Comics Continuum TV series to premiere on TV20 in Detroit on June 2 at 6 a.m., followed by the online version on June 3.

* Marvel Comics has unveiled the variant cover for Astonishing X-Men #51 by Marko Djurdjevic. The issue, featuring Northstar's wedding, will be in stores June 20.

* Bob Layton told The Continuum that a movie based on Shambler, created by Layton and David Michelinie, is now "official." The film is being financed and distributed by Odyssey Pictures and produced by Gillen Group and Rip Media Group.
Plans are for the movie to be completed by this time next year.
