* Cowboys & Aliens will premiere on Cinemax on Friday, August 17 at 8 p.m.

Other air dates and times include Sunday, August 19 at 3:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 8:45 p.m.; Tuesday, August 21 at 10 a.m. and 7:45 p.m.; Saturday, August 25 at 4:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, August 29 at 10:15 a.m. and 10 p.m.

* The Avengers should cross the $600 million mark at the domestic box office this week after placing seventh over the weekend.

The Avengers pulled in $7.0 million to push its domestic total to $598.3 million.

Brave topped the weekend box office with $66.7 million. Men in Black 3 placed eighth with $5.6 million, pushing its total to $163.3 million.

* Activision has released a behind-the-scenes video game for The Amazing Spider-Man video game, featuring Bruce Campbell.
