GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY MOVIE
Marvel Studios is expected to announce a Guardians of the Galaxy movie, probably at Comic-Con International in San Diego, sources have confirmed for The Continuum.
The movie would fit the May 16, 2014 opening Marvel/Disney had reserved.
According to Variety, Nicole Perlman has written a draft for Guardians of the Galaxy. It is likely Marvel will reveal at Comic-Con which Guardians characters will be featured.
Marvel's upcoming slate includes Iron Man 3 on May 3, 2013, Thor 2 on Nov. 15, 2013 and Captain America 2 on April 4, 2014. An Avengers sequel is also in development, probably for 2015.
THE AVENGERS ON BLU-RAY, DVD
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released box art and details from the home market release of The Avengers on Sept. 25.

* Marvel Comics has released a fifth "This is War" teaser, revealing Punisher War Zone for an October release.
According to the publisher, details will be revealed at The Amazing Spider-Man panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Sunday, July 15.

* Warner Home Video has announced a Sept. 18 release for Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season Four Box Set.
The collection includes 22 episodes and five vidoes and commentaries.
