SIMMONS COMICS GROUP AT ARCANA

Arcana Comics has announced a partnership with KISS' Gene Simmons to relaunch Simmons Comics Group, previously from IDW Publishing.

Simmons will debut a new Simmons Comics Anthology at Comic-Con International this week in San Diego.

The Anthology brings together comics originally created by Simmons Comics, and includes the first issues of Zipper, Dominatrix and House of Horrors, plus the first chapter of the new crossover event, "The Slave Trade," where Zipper and Dominatrix will face off against each other.

"The Slave Trade" features art from Yannis Roumboulias (DEADLY HARVEST) and is written by Arcana writer, Erik Hendrix.

"We intend on using the finest artists and writers in the comic book medium," Simmons said. "Zipper, Dominatrix and Gene Simmons House of Horrors will be published throughout the year. For Comic-Con, we thought we would do something special and give the fans a jam-packed Simmons Comics Anthology featuring all of our comic book titles. This is just the beginning."

Simmons will be doing signing on Friday at 2 p.m. at Arcana Comics Booth, with 200 copies of the anthology available at Comic-Con.
