SUNDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2012THE SIMPSONS FOR NOVEMBERFox has scheduled two new episodes of The Simpsons in November.
Following is a rundown:
"GONE ABIE GONE," on Sunday, Nov. 11.
When Grampa (Dan Castellaneta) escapes from his retirement home, Homer (Castellaneta) and Marge (Julie Kavner) frantically try to track him down by following clues that reveal secrets in Grampa's past, including that he worked at a local restaurant with composer Marvin Hamlish (guest-voicing as himself) and met and fell in love with the restaurant's singer Rita LaFleur (guest voice Anika Noni Rose). Meanwhile Lisa (Yeardley Smith) tries her hand at online poker, getting tips from the experts, including Jennifer Tilly (guest-voicing as herself), but is soon gambling with her college fund.
"PENNY WISEGUYS," on Sunday, Nov. 18.
Homer is shocked to discover that his bowling teammate, Dan Gillick (guest voice Steve Carell), is an accountant for Fat Tony (guest voice Joe Mantegna) and his mob. Meanwhile, Lisa adds insects to her vegetarian diet after passing out during a saxophone solo, but starts questioning her decision when bugs start pleading for mercy in her dreams.
