DC NATION RETURNS TO CARTOON NETWORK

Cartoon Network has announced the return of DC Nation and new episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Ben 10 Omniverse on Saturday, Jan. 5.
The one-hour DC Nation block resumes its 10 a.m. time period with new episodes of Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice: Invasion, as well as DC animated shorts.
The Green Lantern episode will be "Steam Lantern," in which, after being blasted by the Anti-Monitor, Hal Jordan finds himself in a steampunk world.
Robin Atkin Downes provides the voice of Gil Broome, aka the Steam Lantern, whose name is a nod to Green Lantern Silver Age creators Gil Kane and John Broome. Downes was the voice of Manchester Black in Superman vs. The Elite.
The Young Justice episode is "Before the Dawn." When Blue Beetle, Miss Martian and the team go on a covert mission to rescue some of their own, uncovering shocking secrets and devastating truths.
Aziz Ansari from NBC's Parks and Recreation guest-stars in the "Arrested Development" episode of Ben 10 as the voice of Billy Billions, Ben's childhood rival. In the episode, Ben and Rooksee their troubles grow as they are literally downsized when Billy Billions traps them in their own pre-pubescent bodies. The pint-sized heroes face giant challenges and must stop the evil Robots from Dimension 12 and save Bellwood.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars follows Ben 10 at 9:30 a.m. with its 100th episode, "MIssing in Action."
In a nearly vacant town on a strange planet, the intrepid members of D-Squad discover Gregor, a clone commando who has lost his memory, and is toiling away as a dishwasher. The all-droid squad and their gruff leader must help Gregor regain his memory so they can steal a heavily guarded shuttle and return to the Republic.

* Aspen Comics has announced incentives for Legend of the Shadow Clan #1, the first release for its 10 for 10 intiative. All will be offered at a $1 price.
Every new reader who lets a retailer know to add Legend of the Shadow Clan #1 to their subscription box is eligible to receive the Aspen Reserved Edition cover for each 10 for 10 #1 title. Fans who collect all 10 Reserved Edition covers will then be eligible to receive the free Aspen 10 for 10 Jam Poster featuring characters from all 10 titles.
Any retailer who orders 50 copies of the $1 priced Legend of the Shadow Clan #1 will receive a signed and numbered copy of the direct cover edition, along with a certificate of authenticity.
Retailers who order 100 copies of the $1 priced issue one will receive the above listed incentive as well as one free CCG 9.8 edition of Legend of the Shadow Clan #1 Reserved Edition cover.
For every 250 total combined copies of the standard and Reserved Edition covers ordered, retailers will receive all of the above listed incentives and one free original hand drawn Sketch Cover by Legend of the Shadow Clan series artist Cory Smith.
Retailers who orders 750 total combined copies of the standard and Reserved variant edition covers are eligible to receive those copies with an exclusive cover featuring their store logo or image incorporated into the cover illustration. Qualifying retailers will be contacted to confirm the specifics of your exclusive image. All prior listed incentives are also included at this level.
And for stores ordering 1,500 total combined copies of the standard and Reserved variant edition covers, those retailers will receive a special store signing appearance by a creator of Legend of the Shadow Clan, receive 200 additional past Aspen exclusive comics for the signing, and be included in an interior ad page of the comic promoting the event. Qualifying retailers will be contacted to confirm the specifics of your signing. This incentive is highly limited to the first five participating stores. All prior listed incentives are also included at this level.
