* Marvel has released a new image from Iron Man 3 featuring Robert Downey Jr.

* Via Twitter, Chloe Bennet has confirmed a report that she has been cast in Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot for ABC. She will play Skye, "a confident woman who is slightly obsessed with superhero culture and the shadow organizations that exist within it. She's edgy and can out-talk anyone with her unflappable nature."

Bennet has starred in ABC's Nashville.

She joins a cast that includes Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Gemma Simmons and Ian De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz.

* According to The Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox has acquired the rights to Top Cow Productions' Theory of Everything, a 2011 Pilot Season comic book created by Dan Casey and Nick Nantell.

* Bryan Singer, director of X-Men: Days of Future Past, has tweeted that Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine in the movie.
