* IDW Publishing and Cartoon Books have announced Jeff Smith's Bone Artist's Edition, to be released this fall and featuring one of Smith's most-beloved stories: The Great Cow Race.

"The Artists Editions are one of the coolest things to happen to comics in a long time," said Bone's creator, Jeff Smith, "I can't wait to be a part of it!"

Jeff Smith and Vijaya Iyer launched Cartoon Books in 1991 with the release of the first issue of Bone. Bone remains an evergreen standard for Cartoon Books, continuing to sell to children of all ages.

Jeff Smith's Bone Artist's Edition will be 144 pages and measure 12" x17".

* FRIDAY BOX OFFICE: G.I. Joe: Retaliation topped the Friday box office with $15.5 million, pushing its total to $26.0 million.

* MIND MGMT CONTINUES Dark Horse Comics has announces it plans to take Matt Kindt's Ming MGMT series through 36 issues. The next arc begins in July with #13.

* BLACK ADAM: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a trailer for Black Adam in the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game.
