* THE WOLVERINE POSTERS, TRAILER: 20th Century Fox has unveiled character posters for Silver Samurai, Viper and Yukio from The Wolverine.

The studio also announced that the new trailer will premiere online on Tuesday at 9 a.m. (ET)/6 a.m. (PT).

* MEET MYSTIQUE: Bryan Singer, director of X-Men: Days of Future Past, has tweeted a first look picture of Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.

* WOLVERINE ANIMATED: Shout! Factory has announced a July 9 release for Marvel Knights Animation's Wolverine: Origin.

The DVD adapts the comic-book series by Paul Jenkins, Joe Quesada, Bill Jemas, and Andy Kubert.

Here's how the story is described:

"Wolverine is the best there is at what he does - although of course, what he does isn’t very nice. But long before he was a member of the X-Men, a tormented experiment of the Weapon-X project, or even a savage bar brawler known as Logan – he was simply a young boy.

"What incredible forces created this man, the world's greatest killing machine?
