COMIC-CON: MARVEL STUDIOS

Writer/director Joss Whedon capped off Marvel Studios' panel at Comic-Con International on Saturday night by announcing that The Avengers sequel will be titled Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The announcement was made via a short teaser video, which showed a beam from Ultron's becoming the logo above.
Tom Hiddleston started the panel in full garb and character as Loki, and then casts from Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy took the stage.

WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Comic-book movies didn't fare too well at the box office over the weekend. While The Conjuring topped the box office with $41.5 million, Red 2 opened in fifth place with $18.5 million and R.I.P.D. opened in seventh with $12.7 million.
Man of Steel placed 15th with $2.8 million, pushing its total to $285.0 million.
