BART SEARS DRAWS BLOODSHOT ARC

Valiant Entertainment has announced that Bart Sears will be drawing "Get Some!," a new arc of Bloodshot and H.A.R.D. Corps beginning with January's #18.

Sears will join co-writers Christos Gage and Joshua Dysart for a two-part story pitting the shock troops against the first wave of superhuman specialists.

Here's how Valiant describes the story:

"Brought back from the dead and infused with cutting-edge nanotechnology, Bloodshot escaped to bring war down upon his former masters at Project Rising Sprit...but now they've made him an offer he can't refuse. Partnered with the weaponized men and women of the H.A.R.D. Corps, this black budget, technologically augmented strike force is facing off against a network of terrorist saboteurs in the heart of the Persian Gulf! But as Bloodshot digs into the multinational oil conglomerate that's signing his paychecks, he'll soon find himself confronted by the complex truth behind the terror -- and face-to-face with an older, scrappier, more grizzled generation of superhuman soldier from the glory days of proxy wars and state-sponsored assassination."

"['Get Some!' is] both a term that's used going into a war zone, referring to confirmed kills, as well as a catch phrase often used by action heroes," Gage said. "We're being a bit facetious in that, with the premise and setup, it could appear like this is a straightforward action-fest, but with me and Josh at the helm, it's inevitably going to take some weird and subversive turns."

Bloodshot and H.A.R.D. Corps #18 will feature covers by Clayton Crain), Lewis LaRosa and Cully Hamner.
