MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: "RAGTAG"

ABC has released a description and Image gallery from "Ragtag," the episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premiering on Tuesday, May 6 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

Here's how ABC describes the episode:

"In the last episode before the epic season finale, Ward's betrayal and HYDRA's shocking secrets are revealed as Coulson's team goes undercover on a mission that leaves no one unscathed."

Guest-starring are Bill Paxton as Agent Garrett; B.J. Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett; Ruth Negga as Raina; David Conrad as Ian Quinn; and J. August Richards as Mike.

"Ragtag" was written by Jeffrey Bell and directed by Roxann Dawson.

EXTINCTION TV: Max Brooks and Avatar Press have announced Legendary Television and Digital have optioned Brooks’ Extinction Parade for development as a new television series. Brooks is closely tied to the development of the project and will be writing the pilot episode.

"I only brought the idea to one company, Legendary, because they do the kind of quality work of which any writer would be proud," Brooks said.

"While the comic series from Avatar continues, I am thrilled to be working with Legendary to develop Extinction Parade into an innovative new series for television."

Avatar will release the first chapter of the Extinction Parade series in trade paperback on July 1.
