SUNDAY, JULY 27, 2014COMIC-CON: AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON PANELMarvel Studios' presentation for Avengers: Age of Ultron included the entire main cast -- a pregnant Scarlett Johansson appeared via video -- but without director Joss Whedon, laid up with a bad knee.

A sizzle reel included Ultron in early and full forms, Iron Man fighting the Hulk in Hulkbuster armor and the Avengers defeated by Ultron.
Also, via video, director James Gunn and actor Chris Pratt announced a sequel to Guardians of Galaxy was set for July 28, 2017.

COMIC-CON: ANT-MAN PANELAlthough the movie doesn't start production until August, Marvel Studios brought out Ant-Man cast members Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas Evangeline Lilly and Corey Stoll and director Peyton Reed for its Comic-Con presentation.

BRIEFLYWEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Lucy, starring Scarlett Johannson, topped the weekend domestic box office with $44.0 million to second-place Hercules' $29.0 million.
Transformers: Age of Extinction placed seventh with $4.6 million, pushing its total to $236.3 million.
