FRIDAY BOX OFFICE: Guardians of the Galaxy topped the domestic box office on Friday with $3.8 million, pushing its total to $262.1 million. The Marvel Studios movie is now the top-grossing film in 2014, surpassing Captain America: The Winter Soldier ($259.7 million).
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was third with $2.6 million, pushing its total to $153.3 million.
VERY BRIEFLY: The Tuesday, Sept. 16 episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC will be a repeat of "The Beginning of the End," the Season 1 finale.
