THE FLASH: "ALL-STAR TEAM-UP"

The CW has released images and a description from "All-Star Team-Up," the episode of The Flash premiering on Tuesday, April 14.

Here's how the episode is described:

"Barry (Grant Gustin) is surprised when Felicity Smoak (guest-star Emily Bett Rickards) arrives from Starling City along with her boyfriend, Ray Palmer (guest-star Brandon Routh), who flies in as the Atom. They've come to visit S.T.A.R. Labs as Ray needs help with his suit. Their timing turns out to be fortuitous because it's all hands on deck after a meta human named Brie Larvin (guest star Emily Kinney) unleashes hundreds of robotic bees to attack and kill her former co-workers, including Dr. Tina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays). A group dinner with Barry, Felicity, Ray, Iris (Candice Patton) and Eddie (Rick Cosnett) turns into a disaster."

Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode, written by Grainne Godfree and Kai Yu Wu.

MARVEL COMICS NEWS ROUNDUP

Marvel Comics has announced an August launch for House of M, a Secret Wars series by writer Dennis Hopeless and artist Kris Anka.

Here's how the book is described:

"The House of Magnus controls all -- ruling Battleworld's Monarchy of M with an iron fist. His children and grandchildren live as royals, complete with the privileges and pit-falls of their station. The great war with humanity has been won, the future of his race assured. Yet the question remains -- what happens to a conqueror when there is no one left to conquer?"

"I think if asked our Magneto would tell you he’s living the dream," Hopeless said. "Mutants run the world and he’s their all-powerful king. Sitting alone with his thoughts in a big boring throne room, the man might let himself admit the truth. Magneto is a warrior. He was born to rage against the machine. However happy he may be with the result, Magneto misses the war."
