The CW has released images and a description from "Public Enemy," the episode of Arrow airing on Wednesday, April 15.

Here's how the episode is described:

" Lance (Paul Blackthorne) continues his mission to take down the Arrow (Stephen Amell) so Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) orders Oliver to keep a low profile. However, when a meta-human named Jake Simmons (guest star Doug Jones), who kills people with blasts of energy and plasma, starts terrorizing Starling City, Oliver is forced to ask Ray (Brandon Routh) for help. The unlikely duo is forced to team up to save the city."

MARVEL COMICS NEWS ROUNDUP

Marvel Comics has announced a July launch for Siege, a Secret Wars series by writer Kieron Gillen and artist Felipe Andrade.

Here's how the book is described:

"Welcome to the Shield, the last line of defense against the hordes to the south of Battleworld. Zombie armies, Ultron robots primed only for death, and the Annihilation Wave. The Shield is the only thing that keeps them out. To patrol the Shield is to know fear, for your end could come at any moment. To man the Shield is to put your trust in the men and women standing beside you at the edge of the world. And to trust your leader. Because if you patrol the Shield -- you answer to Abigail Brand.

"Now Brand and her team -- Lady Katherine Bishop, Leah of Hel, Magik, Leonardo Da Vinci, Miss America Chaves, the Endless Summers and Grimm -- must stand alone against unstoppable darkness. Because if they fail -- everything is lost."

"The Shield's purpose is to stop everything that's south of that point going north of that point," Gillen said. "It's because everything south of the Shield is entirely ungovernable. They want to eat you. Being deposited on the Shield is a punishment for a mixture of people who are entirely too battle-hungry or entirely too heroic."

BACK TO PRESS: Marvel Comics has announced a fifth printing for Star Wars #1, to be in stores on May 6.
