Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a clip and three images from Justice League: Gods & Monsters, the animated movie in stores on Tuesday.

Here's how the movie is described:
"Justice League: Gods & Monsters features a Superman born of General Zod's blood, a Batman with a healthy dose of bat in the man, and a Wonder Woman rising from the ranks of the New Gods. This ain't your daddy's Justice League. They are as likely the world's saviors as Earth's despotic rulers. When a group of famed scientists experience untimely 'accidents,' a government task force follows the trail of clues to the Justice League -- and into a high stakes game of intrigue, mystery and action that asks the question: How do you serve justice to those above the law?"

MODERN PROMETHEUS: The publisher of Z2 Comics, Josh Frankel, and independent filmmaker Sridhar Reddy have announced the formation of a new production company, Modern Prometheus. Frankel and Reddy will serve as co-chairmen and will be responsible for sourcing and developing comic book intellectual property and overseeing media finance, operations and production. Modern Prometheus will have a first look option for all Z2 Comics publications, including their recently announced line of creator owned comic books and their expanded graphic novel slate.
Modern Prometheus already has an animated pilot in the works based on A Welcome To Showside, the upcoming Z2 Comics series by Ian McGinty, with an ensemble cast including musician Henry Rollins. A live-action adaptation of One Trick Rip-Off, the graphic novel from Paul Pope, is also in the works.
VERY BRIEFLY: According to Deadline, Andrew Howard has been cast for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Banks, "n authoritative and intimidating agent." Season 3 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. begins on ABC on Sept. 29.
