JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION PREMIERS DEC. 16
Cartoon Network has announced that Justice League Action will premiere on Friday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. (ET/PT). The show will then premiere episodes on Saturday beginning Dec. 24.

The show will debut with the four part "Shazam Slam."
Here's how the network describes the episode:
"The villainous Black Adam battles Batman on the Rock of Eternity and unleashes a horde of Djinn determined to turn the Earth back to its pre-human, volcanic state. Affected by the otherworldly powers of these primordial monsters, Batman becomes possessed and is turned into a giant flying Batmonster laying waste to the Hall of Justice, with only Superman capable of taking the fight to the Dark Knight. One by one, the Justice League -- with the help of Shazam (voiced by Sean Astin) and The Wizard (voiced by Carl Reiner) -- must hunt down and defeat each Djinn in order to yet again save the world from destruction."
Justice League Action marks the return of Kevin Conroy as Batman. The series will also deliver an all-star lineup of regular and guest cast voices, including Mark Hamill as Joker, James Woods as Lex Luthor and Diedrich Bader as Booster Gold. Sam Registerserves as executive producer, with Butch Lukic, Alan Burnett and Jim Krieg as producers.

AMERICA IN MARCH: Marvel Comics has announced a March launch for America, from writer Gabby Rivera and Joe Quinones.
The series continues the high-octane adventures of America Chavez, the Latina powerhouse, as she plants her feet, punches her way through dimensions, and faces off against an oncoming alien horde all while managing her social life and trying to attend various classes on alternate Earths.
