LOGAN: FINAL TRAILER

20th Century Fox has released a final trailer for Logan, arriving on March 3.

Here's how Fox describes the movie:

"In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces."

The movie stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook and Stephen Merchant and Introduces Dafne Keen.

Logan was directed by James Mangold from a screenplay by Michael Green, Scott Frank and Mangold.

ASSASSIN'S CREED: REFLECTIONS

Titan Comics has announced a March 8 launch for Assassin's Creed Reflections, a mini-series featuring four stand-alone adventures starring Assassins, such as Edward Kenway, Connor and Altaïr. Kicking off the first issue is celebrated Renaissance roof-crawler, Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

Written by Ian Edginton (and illustrated by Valeria Favoccia, Assassin's Creed: Reflections goes beyond the storylines of the video game, revealing hidden adventures and new revelations for the characters.

Here's how Titan describes the first issue:

"Templar agent Otso Berg's Animus research leads him to 15th Century Florence, and the memories of the legendary figure Ezio Auditore da Firenze. In a final meeting with his good friend, Leonardo da Vinci, the Assassin shares a treasured moment from his past involving one of the Italian artist's most famous subjects..."

Providing covers for Assassin's Creed: Reflections #1 are Sunsetagain, Massimiliano Veltri, George Caltsoudas, Valeria Favoccia and Nacho Arranz, along with a special polygon variant by Andrew Leung.

LOVECRAFT ANIMATED CAST

Arcana Studios and Shout! Factory today announced the casting of Mark Hamill, Jeffrey Combs, Christopher Plummer and Doug Bradley in the upcoming animated feature Howard Lovecraft and the Undersea Kingdom.

Hamill is set to voice the role of Dr. Henry Armitage, and Combs has been cast in the role of King Abdul. Plummer and Bradley will be reprising their roles as Dr. Herbert West and Nyarlathotep.

Written, directed and produced by Sean Patrick O'Reilly, Howard Lovecraft and the Undersea Kingdom. is the movie adaption of Arcana's graphic novel of the same name, and the second installment of Howard Lovecraft animated film series.

The movie follows a young Howard and his friend Spot on an awe-inspiring adventure from the frozen wasteland to the depths of a mysterious ocean. The movie entwines new storytelling, actual events of H.P. Lovecraft's life, iconic elements of his writings and literary characters Cthulhu, Shoggoth and more. It is slated for a late 2017 release across major entertainment distribution platforms and in packaged media from Shout! Factory.

NEW BUFFY: Dark Horse Comics has announced a June 28 release for Buffy: The High School Years -- Parental Parasite, written by Kel McDonald with art by Yishan Li.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the book:

Balancing this new development with her schoolwork, her friends, and her regular vampire-slaying duties proves to be a challenge.
