DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: "THE LEGION OF DOOM"

The CW has released images and details from "The Legion of Doom" the episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow premiering on Tuesday, Jan. 31.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"The Legends are determined to find and rescue Rip (Arthur Darvill), but first must focus on locating the Spear of Destiny. Stein (Victor Garber) thinks he has the perfect person to help but knows involving her will be risky. Meanwhile, Malcom Merlyn (guest star John Barrowman) and Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) realize that Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher) is pitting them against each other."

Eric Laneuville directed the episode, written by Phil Klemmer and Marc Guggenheim.

THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE: BEHIND THE BRICKS

Warner Bros. has released a "Behind the Bricks" featurette for The LEGO Batman Movie, in theaters on Feb. 10.

Here's how the movie is described:

"In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble -- LEGO Batman -- stars in his own big-screen adventure: The LEGO Batman Movie. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up."

The movie was directed by Chris McKay and features the voices of Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson and Ralph Fiennes.



BLACK PANTHER STARTS PRODUCTION

Marvel Comics has announced production has begun on Black Panther, spinning out of Captain America: Civil War.

Here's how the film is described:

"Black Panther follows T'Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T'Challa's mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk."

The film stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Lee Daniels and Andy Serkis. Additional cast members include Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Sterling K. Brown and John Kani.

Black Panther is from director Ryan Coogler from a script by Coogler and Joe Robert Cole. The film will open on Feb. 16, 2018.

NEW POWERLESS: NBC has released a description for "Cold Season," the Thursday, Feb. 16 episode of Powerles.

Here's how the episode is described:

"Emily (Vanessa Hudgens) convinces Teddy (Danny Pudi) to enter what she thinks is a game-changing invention into the Wayne Innovation contest against the elitist engineers of Wayne X, even though he has his doubts. Meanwhile, Van (Alan Tudyk) takes advantage of Ron's (Ron Funches) good nature and has him assemble a toy in hopes of preoccupying his new girlfriend's child."
