PREACHER: SEASON 2 ON AMC
AMC has announced that the Preacher will return for Season 2 on Monday, June 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The network also released first-look photos from the new season.
The expanded second season, consisting of 13 episodes, is a genre-bending thrill ride that follows West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Academy Award® nominee Ruth Negga) and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) as they embark on a road trip to find God and are thrust into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
Season 1, comprised of 10 episodes, is currently available on Blu-ray and DVD as well as On Demand and on AMC.com through Tuesday, April 4 -- with the first two episodes of the season available unauthenticated. Season 1 can also be streamed exclusively on Hulu beginning Wednesday, April 5.
The Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios co-production was developed for television by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and showrunner Sam Catlin. The series is executive produced by Catlin, as well as Rogen, Goldberg and James Weaver for Point Grey Pictures, Neal H. Moritz and Ori Marmur for Original Film and Vivian Cannon, Jason Netter and Ken F. Levin.
Preacher Season 2 stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun, Ian Coletti, Graham McTavish, and new additions Noah Taylor, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett, Justin Prentice and Ronald Guttman.
DC SUPER HERO GIRLS: INTERGALACTIC GAMES
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment have scheduled DC Super Hero Girls: Intergalactic Games for a Digital HD release on May 9 and a DVD release on May 23.

The second feature in the new universe celebrating young girls see Super Hero High facing off against Korugar Academy in the Intergalactic Games.
Here's how the movie is described:
"Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Bumblebee and Katana square off against Korugar Academy in the Intergalactic Games, but trouble is in the air as Lena Luthor takes advantage of the gathering of the Supers to enact her villainous plan. It's up to the DC Super Hero Girls to fight the forces of evil and protect their school. With Wonder Woman's strength, Supergirl's speed, Batgirl's strategic knowledge, Poison Ivy's ability to make things grow, Harley Quinn's energy, Bumblebee's ability to shrink and Katana's fearless personality... anything is possible."
Special Features on HD and DVD release include seven animated shorts. Additionally, exclusively on the DVD is the music video for the song "That's My Girl" by girl group Fifth Harmony.
DC Super Hero Girls: Intergalactic Games features Grey Griffin (Wonder Woman), Tara Strong (Harley Quinn/Poison Ivy), Anais Fairweather (Supergirl), Mae Whitman (Batgirl), Teala Dunn (Bumblebee) and Stephanie Sheh (Katana). Cecilia Aranovich Hamilton directs from a script by Shea Fontana. Jennifer Coyle serves as producer with Sam Register as executive producer.
MARVEL'S GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
Disney XD has released details and images from the two-part second season premiere of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, starting Saturday at 9 p.m.
