WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales topped the domestic box office in its opening weekend with a projected $62.1 million.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 fell to second place with $19.8 million, pushing its total to $335.2 million after four weeks of release.
The sequel now has surpassed the original Guardians and stands ninth all time among movies featuring Marvel characters. It should pass Spider-Man 3's $336.5 million this week and then sets its sties on No. 6 Deadpool's $363.0 million.
Baywatch placed third with $18.1 million.
