BATMAN AND HARLEY QUINN

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced an August 15 release on digital and an August 29 release on Blu-ray and DVD for Batman and Harley Quinn, the 30th movie in the DC Universe animated series.

Here's how the movie is described:

"Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue (a.k.a. The Floronic Man) embark on an ecological quest to save the planet -- and, unfortunately, eliminate most of humankind along the way. To save humanity, Batman and Nightwing are forced to enlist Harley Quinn to catch Poison Ivy, Harley's BFF and frequent partner-in-crime. But Batman's patience is put to the test by the unpredictable and untrustworthy Harley during the twists and turns the reluctant companions face during their bumpy road trip. The result is a thrill ride of action, adventure and comedy no Batman fan has seen before."

The cast includes Kevin Conroy as Batman, Melissa Rauch as Harley Quinn, Loren Lester as Nightwing, Paget Brewster as Poison Ivy and Kevin Michael Richardson as Jason Woodrue.

Sam Liu directed from an original story by Bruce Timm with a teleplay written by Timm and Jim Krieg. Co-producer is Alan Burnett, and executive producers are Sam Register, Bruce Timm, Benjamin Melniker and Michael Uslan.

Bonuses include The Harley Effect featurette; Loren Lester: In His Own Voice; "Harley and Ivy" and "Harley's Holiday" episodes from Batman: The Animated Series; and a look at the next DC Universe movie.

WARFRAME COMIC DEBUT: Digital Extremes has announced that the Warframe will debut as an exclusive, free edition at TennoCon on Saturday, July 8 in London, Ontario.

The Top Cow Productions five-issue series expands the Warframe universe with intriguing new characters and original locations, and offers an imaginative character-driven tone to Warframe players and comic book fans alike. The narrative hinges on the lone Warframe, Excalibur, who is determined to protect a blinded young girl, the last survivor of a recently destroyed village on Earth. Seasoned Tenno may even find hints to future game updates in the series not yet revealed in the Warframe universe.

"I was immediately attracted to Warframe because of its storyline," said Top Cow president/COO and writer Matt Hawkins. "For a writer, it's a very fertile place to create something fresh, from the mysterious Tenno origins to the faction battles to the Grineer Queens and more. It's a fantastic universe where I have lost many late night hours playing the game."
