MARVEL COMICS' VENOM INC.

Venom is sweeping across the Marvel Universe, and in an epic new crossover, Eddie Brock finally makes his way into Spider-Man's world with Venom Inc. The six-part story kicks off in Venom Inc/Alpha #1 on Dec. 6, written by Dan Slott and Mike Costa, with art by Ryan Stegman.

Here's how Marvel describes the event:

"Following Alpha #1, the story continues in Amazing Spider-Man and Venom. At the heart of the story? The relationship between fan favorites Peter Parker and Eddie Brock...who haven't been face-to-face in years. Add in Flash Thompson, and this is one reunion you're not going to want to miss."

"Flash Thompson] got to be that hero when he was Venom….but that was everything he'd wanted. And now it's gone. It was robbed from him. And so, he's trying to figure out what his role in life is…and where that story goes, I'm not gonna tell you," said editor Nick Lowe.

"You don't get much more Legacy than this story," promised Lowe. "Twists! Turns! Classic Spider-Man characters, but all treading on new ground! And to have Ryan Stegman returning to Amazing Spider-Man? I'm embarrassed by the creative riches here!"

Part 2 of Venom Inc. will be in Amazing Spider-Man #972 by Slott and Stegman, part 3 will be in Venom #158 by Costa and Gerardo Sandoval and part four will be in Amazing Spider-Man #793 by Slott and Stegman.

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI -- STORMS OF CRAIT

Marvel Comics has announced a Dec. 27 launch for Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Storms of Crait, a mini-series written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker, with art by Mike Mayhew.

Here's how Marvel describes the book:

"it becomes a battleground between the Resistance and the First Order, but that wasn't the first time Crait became a place where heroes and villains clashed in their fight for the galaxy. Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa once took up arms on Crait and led the rebellion as they as they searched for a new home -- and a new base for the Rebel Alliance. Tying in to the eagerly anticipated December film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi -- Storms of Crait promises to be a new and exciting adventure for all Star Wars fans -- and a story that will change the galaxy as we know it."

"We're excited for the opportunity to tell this story," said editor Jordan D. White. "Tying the new sequel series in more tightly with the original trilogy era, and helping make the Galaxy Far Away a little more fleshed out. The Bens are a great fit in for Star Wars, as they showed in Join the Resistance, and Mike has did such great work on both covers and the Obi-Wan issues of the flagship Star Wars title, that we couldn't be happier to have him back doing art for us."

BOOM! STUDIOS' ROCKO'S MODERN LIFE

BOOM! Studios and Nickelodeon have announced a December launch for Rocko's Modern Life.

The ongoing comic book series is based on the popular animated show about everyone's favorite wallaby. Writer Ryan Ferrier and artist Ian McGinty team to launch the first comic book in the series in December. Each issue will also feature bonus short stories by different illustrators, including Tony Millionaire, KC Green and David DeGrand.

Here's how the book is described:

"Rocko, Spunky, Heffer, Filburt, the Bigheads, and the entire cast of O-Town are back, but all is not well. The town is facing a job shortage and Rocko is hit hard. With unemployment and potential homelessness on the horizon, Rocko's problems are just beginning. But with help from his best friends Heffer and Filbert and his faithful dog Spunky, Rocko is (mostly) ready to take on the world (maybe)."

"Rocko's Modern Life was one of the standout series for me growing up, as it really struck a chord with me in how similar it was to my own sensibilities and sense of humor, even at that younger age," Ferrier said. "Working on this series, especially knowing how incredible Ian is going to make it, has made me an even bigger fan."

Rocko's Modern Life marks the second series in the partnership between BOOM! Studios and Nickelodeon. The first series of this partnership debuts Oct. 18 with Rugrats #1.

Rocko's Modern Life #1 features a main cover by Jorge Monlongo, a "look-and-find" cover by Bachan and a variant cover by Nick Pitarra.
