AMC VISIONARIES: ROBERT KIRKMAN'S SECRET HISTORY OF COMICS
AMC has announced that AMC Visionaries: Robert Kirkman's Secret History of Comics will premiere as a two-night television event starting on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 11 p.m. (ET/PT), followed by a second episode on Monday, Nov. 13 at 10 (ET/PT), in its regular time slot.
The six-part one-hour documentary series takes a deeper look into the stories, people and events that have transformed the world of comic books and features interviews with icons such as Stan Lee, Patty Jenkins, Lynda Carter, Kevin Smith, Famke Janssen, J.K. Simmons, Michelle Rodriguez and Todd McFarlane and many others.
"My love for the world of comics knows no bounds," Kirkman said. "It's a universe of amazing stories that has been driving pop culture as a whole for decades. Being able to explore the nooks and crannies of this world has allowed me to find out secrets even I didn't know. It's been a pleasure putting this series together and I couldn't be more thrilled to be able to finally share it with the world."
AMC Visionaries: Robert Kirkman's Secret History of Comics is executive produced by Kirkman, David Alpert, Bryan Furst, Sean Furst, Daniel Junge and Rory Karpf.
AMC Visionaries is a year-round documentary franchise in which groundbreaking artists celebrate, curate and author the untold stories and fascinating histories of their respective genres.

BOOM!'S EXPANSE: BOOM! Studios has announced a February release for The Expanse: Origins graphic novel. This softcover features a new story by writer James S. A. Corey that officially ties into both the worlds of the novels and television series on Syfy, with a spotlight on character Detective Miller (portrayed by Thomas Jane).
Additionally, an edition of The Expanse: Origins containing 16 extra pages of bonus material, including a writers’ commentary and process art, will be available exclusively at Barnes & Noble.
The graphic novel also collects the digital-first, four-issue limited series, written by The Expanse television series writers Hallie Lambert and Georgia Lee, and illustrated by Huang Danlan.
