RIVERDALE: "THE HILLS HAVE EYES"

The CW has released images and details from "The Hills Have Eyes," the episode of Riverdale premiering on Wednesday, March 7.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"When Hiram (Mark Consuelos) suggests that Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Archie (KJ Apa) head up to their lake house for the weekend, Veronica decides to invite Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) to join them. Determined to uncover Hiram's plans for Riverdale, Jughead uses his time at the lake house to press Veronica about what she may know. Back in Riverdale, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) makes a surprising connection with an unlikely friend, while Josie (Ashleigh Murray) lands in hot water after revealing a secret to Kevin (Casey Cott)."

David Katzenberg directed the episode, written by Ross Maxwell.

THE ADVENTURE TIME 100 PROJECT

BOOM! Studios, Cartoon Network and Hero Initiative, the charity that helps comic book creators in medical and financial need, have announced The Adventure Time 100 Project in stores in May.

Finn, Jake and the entire Adventure Time crew take center stage in Hero Initiative's 100 Project format, which invites 100 artists from around the world to create one-of-a-kind original covers, this time on the blank variant cover editions of Adventure Time #36.

Contributing artists include Jeffrey Brown, John Cassaday, Emi Lenox, Whilce Portacio, Bill Sienkiewicz and Walt Simonson.

The original art from The Adventure Time 100 Project will be auctioned off beginning on June 2 during a launch party event at Challengers Comics in Chicago, and continuing online.

"Adventure Time does that sublime job of appealing to kids and adults at the same time. It's great to see artists who appeal to all ages lend their talents to this as well," said Jim McLauchlin, Hero Initiative president. "Challengers does the same kind of job, with a separate-but-attached store for kids next door called Sidekicks. It's a great venue to show off this wonderful art and have a great time."
