COMICS CONTINUUM TV SERIES: EPISODE 344

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR BOX OFFICE

Avengers: Infinity War became the fifth-largest movie all time worldwide over the weekend and now stands at $1.60 billion.

Avengers: Infinity War topped the domestic box office for a third consecutive weekend with a projected $61.8 million, pushing its domestic total to $547.8 million.

The Marvel Studios movie is now eighth all time domestically, with No. 7 Star Wars: The Last Jedi's $620.1 million next in line.

By comparison, 2012's Avengers had made $457.6 million domestically after three weekends. Marvel's top movie of all time, Black Panther, had made $501.7 million after three weekends.

Black Panther placed ninth over the weekend with a projected $1.9 million, pushing its domestic total to $696.1 million.

Black Panther has made $1.34 billion worldwide.

DARK HORSE'S PREDATORS: Dark Horse Comics has announced two new Predator projects.

Predator: Hunters II, by writer Chris Warner and artist August Padilla, starts on August 8.

Here's how Dark Hors describes the book:

"Since the beginning of time, Predators have come to Earth from their home among the stars to stalk and kill the strongest of humans for sport. But now the tables have turned, and a group of human hunters has set their sights on the Predators. But they soon find out they are competing with a mysterious government agency that is after the same prey. The hunt is on, and only the strongest and smartest will survive!"

Dark Horse will also release Predator: The Essential Comics Volume 1 TPB, collecting Predator: Concrete Jungle, Predator: Cold War and Predator: Dark River, from writer Mark Verheiden and artists Warner and Ron Randall.

The 368-page book goes on sale Dec. 12 and will cost $24.99.

MORE IZOMBIE: The CW has renewed iZombie for a fifth season. The fourth season ends May 28.

iZombie joins fellow comic-book shows Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Black Lightning, Arrow and Riverdale on The CW's scheduled for the 2018-19 season.

THE FLASH FINALE: The CW has released a description for "We Are The Flash," the Season 5 finale of The Flash airing May 22"

David McWhirter directed the episode, written by Todd Helbing and Eric Wallace.

VERY BRIEFLY: Josh Brolin, who stars as Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and Cable in Deadpool 2, will be a guest on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday. Paul Bettany, who plays Vision in Avengers: Infinity War, will be a guest on Wednesday.
