SOLO DROPS, BUT TOPS FRIDAY BOX OFFICE

Solo: A Star Wars Story again topped the domestic box office, but took a hefty fall in its second Friday.

The movie brought in $8.1 million, an 84-percent drop-off from its opening day, and now stands at $127.7 million total.

Deadpool 2 placed second with $6.6 million and now stands at $237.9 million. At its same point in release in 2016, Deadpool had brought in $263.0 million.

Avengers: Infinity War placed fourth with $2.8 million, pushing its total to $635.2 million. The film is now sixth all time, with No. 5 Jurassic World's $652.2 million within range.

Infinity War has brought in $1.92 billion globally.

NEW SUPERGIRL: The CW has released the following description for "Make it Reign," the episode of Supergirl premiering on Monday, June 11:

"Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) learns the true depth of Serena's (guest star Anjali Jay) nefarious plans for Earth. Supergirl, Mon-El (Chris Wood) and Alura (guest-star Erica Durance) must devise a plan to stop her before Serena gets to Earth. J'onn (David Harewood) prepares to say goodbye to his father (guest-star Carl Lumby)."

Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode, written by Ray Utarnachitt and Cindy Lichtman.
