ARCHIE COMICS FIRST LOOKS

INCREDIBLES 2 TOPS BOX OFFICE
Incredibles 2 easily topped the domestic box office in its opening day with $71.5 million to runner-up Ocean 8's $5.9 million.
The Pixar/Walt Disney Pictures release should surpass Finding Dory ($135.0 million) as the biggest opening animated movie of all time.
Avengers: Infinity War placed eighth with $1.4 million. The Marvel Studios movie has now passed Titanic for fourth place all time with $660.3 million to Titanic's $659.3 million.
The movie is the top grosser in the world this year so far with $2.006 billion.
Solo: A Star Wars Movie placed fourth with $2.3 million, pushing its total to $186.0 million.
Deadpool 2 placed fifth with 2.3 million, pushing its total to $288.1 million.
SPIDER-MAN VIDEO GAME VARIANTS

Marvel Comics has announced its Spider-Man Video Game Variant cover program for September.
Illustrated by Insomniac Games artists Dennis Chan, Daryl Mandryk, Eve Ventrue and Sing Ji, and Marvel Games' own art director Tim Tsang, all five covers pay homage to classic Amazing Spider-Man comic covers.
Titles with the Spider-Man variants will include:
* Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1, by Dennis Chan (homage to Amazing Spider-Man #546 by Steve McNiven).
* Amazing Spider-Man #5, by Daryl Mandryk (homage to Amazing Spider-Man #46 by John Romita).
* Avengers #7, by Eve Ventrue (homage to Dark Reign: Mister Negative #1 by Jae Lee).
* Spidergeddon #0 by Sing Ji (homage to Amazing Spider-Man #671 by Humberto Ramos).
* West Coast Avengers #2 by Tim Tsang (homage to Amazing Spider-Man #151 by John Romita).

HALLOWEEN TREATS: Diamond Comic Distributors has announced its exclusive collector's figures for Halloween ComicFest on Oct. 27.
The Star-Lord Previews Exclusive Funko POP! Figure is based on his appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy series by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, including Peter in his signature full-face mask with his laser guns drawn and ready.
Beast Kingdom has paired up with Marvel and Diamond to offer a line of mini Egg Attack figures inspired by Deadpool. The Previews Exclusive Deadpool Servant X-Force Figure features a sassy, subservient Deadpool figure finished with exclusive paint deco of Deadpool in his X-Force outfit with a pink maid uniform over top! The Previews Exclusive Deadpool Day Dream X-Force Figurefeatures a cheerful, daydreaming Deadpool figure, with both Deadpool and all his little Deadpools finished with exclusive paint deco of his X-Force outfit.
GIGANTIC COLLECTION: Dark Horse Comics has set a Nov. 28 for the Gigantic Library Edition hardcover, a 136-page book that collects the five-issue series by Rick Remender and Eric Nguyen.
Here's how Dark describes the book:
"In a twist on the cult-classic film The Truman Show, Gigantic follows a brainwashed alien superhero deposited on Earth to be the unwitting star of an intrusive, around-the-clock television program being filmed without his knowledge while a giant, armored invader attacks San Francisco!"
VERY BRIEFLY: Jeremy Jordan, who plays Winn Schott, will be moving from series regular to a recurring character in Season 4 of The CW's Supergirl.
