Description: Ten years ago, a mysterious ship crashed on Macross Island. In the intervening years, the people of Earth have used the Robotechnology from the ship to significantly advance their own technology. After an attack by alien race of giants, the Zentraedi, Earth's Super-Dimension Fortress was forced to space-fold away -- taking a chunk of Macross City with them. The SDF-1 is now in the midst of a long journey back to Earth. On the SDF-1, Claudia has evidence linking Roy to Gloval's death. Meanwhile, the Vermillion Squad -- Rick (now blind), Max and Ben -- plus Lisa and Kramer have been taken prisoner aboard the Zentraedi flagship and interrogated by the aliens. In his Veritech, Max survived being brutally beaten by the Zentraedi Miriya and made his way back to free his friends.
