BRIEFLY

GADOT VOICING: Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman, has announced she is voicing Shank in Ralph Breaks the Internet, arriving in theaters on Nov. 21.

Said Gadot, "Shank is amazing at driving cars and has this bad-girl vibe to her. But as the movie goes on you realize how fun, wise and warm she really is on the inside, which is what I like most about her."

Ralph and Vanellope encounter Shank and her unusual cohorts when they venture to the internet in search of a replacement part for Vanellope's game, Sugar Rush. Shank, a tough-as-nails street racer, takes her role and her tricked-out car very seriously and doesn't like to lose. When Vanellope finds herself in a street race with Shank, her Sugar Rush driving skills are put to the test -- and Shank is impressed.

DARK HORSE'S PROBLEM: Dark Horse Comics has announced a Jan. 23 release for The Problem of Susan and Other Stories, an anthology featuring such comic adaptations of Neil Gaiman short stories "The Problem of Susan," "October in the Chair," "Locks," and "The Day the Saucers Came."

The book features the work of Gaiman, P. Craig Russell, Scott Hampton, Paul Chadwick and Lovern Kindzierski.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the book:

"In the short story 'The Problem of Susan,' Neil Gaiman explores the remarkable power of children's literature through the eyes of an aged college professor with unique insight into Susan's fantastic past. The Problem of Susan and Other Stories shines new light on the wondrous and imaginative tales we tell and how they shape our experiences for generations to come."

VERY BRIEFLY: The CW repeats of super-hero shows the week of August 20 include "Null and Annoyed" on The Flash on Tuesday, August 21 and "The Faithful" on Supergirl on Wednesday, August 22.
